This vintage Chanel store display case is being offered on eBay. It may date to the Coco Chanel era possibly 1930's.
The description with the listing states "I am offering this old / original brass showcase that was made to display CHANEL products . I am offering this item as found with no cleaning or restoration done to this item . I believe it is from the 1930’s . It stands approx. 78” high . It is 26 1/4” wide and 12” deep . I believe the item still has the original glass . The item originally came with 2 locks , one of the locks is missing . I do not have the key to the remaining door lock . The showcase comes with the 2 old lighting ballasts , no bulbs . The glass shelves are missing . The white milk glass panels that fit behind the CHANEL lettering are also missing . I also believe that the glass mirror is missing from the back of the showcase . This item would look fantastic restored and filled with Chanel collectibles ."
